The Human Ecology, Policy, Planning
and Environmental Justice program is
a largely social science-based
environmental major. It is designed to
give students a very broad
background in environmental subjects,
with heavy emphasis on the human
perspective. Students who have an
interest in the environment and who
are planning to transfer to a four-year
institution or to work in government
agencies, consulting firms, or
non-profits will find this program to be
good preparation.

The
AA degree in Human Ecology,
Policy, Planning and Environmental
Justice
will be awarded upon
satisfactory completion of the Major
course requirements and the General
Education requirements. A
Certificate
will be awarded upon satisfactory
completion of the major course
